High Museum

  • Favorite work of art - Vase, Basalt - I liked the shape of it and the detail.
  • Work of art I liked but wouldn't take home - Levy, Dinachoe - Too big
  • The Winged Genius -- Taught me about the Assyrian Kings in Mesopotamia
  • Work of art that identifies a historic moment in time - Christ Carry - Especially significant since it was celebrated this past friday
  • Work of art that reminded you of someone in your life -"Et in arcadia ego" - Reminded me of a friend who is always looking closely at stuff and trying to figure out the real meaning of it.
  • Difference between folk art and contemporary art - I saw some difference but a lot of it was the same to me. The only real difference is the professionalism of the contemporary art.
  • Part most meaningful - Got to go and hang out with friends

Graffiti

This reminded me of graffiti because of the random subjects and elaborate color
